Who are we

We are Line and Jannick, a married couple who use LEGO® bricks to relax, socialize, and occasionally test the absolute limit of our home’s storage space!
LEGO® is a huge part of our lives; it’s our shared passion, our favorite way to unwind, and honestly, the glue holding us together (figuratively speaking, of course - no Kragle allowed!).

How It All Started (Again)
Like most people, we both loved LEGO® as kids, but as adults, the hobby fell away... until December 2013. That Christmas, Line’s mother won the LEGO® Architecture Leaning Tower of Pisa as a gift game prize. Having no interest in building it herself, she passed it to Line. One build was all it took - Line was officially hooked again!
Jannick’s reignition came three years later, in December 2016. Line had been smoke-free for three months, and Jannick had promised her the LEGO® Ideas Wall-E set as a reward. During a celebratory trip to the flagship LEGO® Store in Copenhagen, Line went a bit wild buying sets, while Jannick fell in love with the bright yellow LEGO® Ideas Caterham. He originally bought it thinking Line could build it for him, but after realizing how long it might take her, he decided to "help out" and build it himself. Game over. Jannick was hooked too.

Living in a LEGO® world
Since then, our collection has expanded into every corner of our lives. We display our finished builds in glass cabinets, on every flat surface available, and even inside a custom-modified IKEA coffee table so we can admire them while relaxing. Nowadays, we often have to choose what to build based on available display space rather than what we actually want to build!
To prevent diplomatic incidents over who gets to build what (and to avoid accidentally buying duplicate sets), we’ve established a few boundaries:

Jannick’s Favorites: Big, challenging builds. Think large Creator/Icons sets, Technic, ships, and anything complex. He also has a massive soft spot for nostalgic Fabuland, vintage LEGO® sets, and the original wooden toys from LEGO®.

Line’s Favorites: Modular buildings, Creator/Icons cars, Disney, animals, flowers, and smaller sets like BrickHeadz. Line is also obsessed with official LEGO® merchandise, meaning our home is filled with LEGO® bags, lunchboxes, water bottles, and whatever else features the iconic logo. (Line is also famous for two things: talking a lot and having virtually zero self-control when a new set is released).

Events, Matching Outfits, and a LEGO® Wedding
If you attend major LEGO® events like Klodsfest or Skærbæk Fan Weekend, you won't miss us. We are well-known for showing up in matching LEGO® outfits, hand-sewn from original LEGO® bedsheets into custom shirts and skirts!

LEGO® is also our favorite way to connect with people. We frequently host relaxed "build & dinner" nights with friends and family, and we’ve built a wonderful network of LEGO® friends all around the globe. We even prioritize traveling for the brick, like buying a holiday house in 2019 just 25 minutes from Billund (mostly for extra space and quick access to LEGOLAND® and LEGO® House), or traveling all the way to LEGOLAND® Korea in 2022.

In fact, when we got married on June 12, 2021 (and threw our big wedding party the following year), the theme was 100% LEGO®. If it could be made of or decorated with LEGO®, it was! We even had our official wedding photos taken inside LEGOLAND® and LEGO® House.
